Job summary

Intellibee in Lansing, MI is seeking an IT Security Analyst to oversee security planning, compliance readiness, and incident response support for MCSC and MiLEAP applications. The role centers on maintaining System Security Plans (SSPs) and leading the Authority to Operate (ATO) renewal process on a three-year cycle.

Responsibilities include communicating risk assessment results, coordinating Plans of Action & Milestones, and providing senior-level security governance across multiple programs.

Qualifications

• Experience with NIST framework and controls (required).
• 5 years of experience in security/compliance roles (required).
• Strong written and oral communication and documentation skills.
• Experience providing audit evidence to comply with security standards (NIST, PCI, HIPPA, FERPA) (required).
• Exposure to complex IT web applications in the past 5 years (required).
• Experience leading meetings and producing oral and written reports (required).
• Experience serving as a liaison between business and IT areas (required).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for SSP maintenance and updates.
• Coordinate ATO renewal planning, materials, timelines and approvals.
• Ensure each application maintains a three-year ATO cycle.
• Review risk assessments and communicate results with management.
• Create management reports and conduct trend analysis across agencies.
• Manage Plans of Action & Milestones and compliance reporting.
• Provide senior-level support across MDCR, MCSC, and MiLEAP.
• Identify gaps in compliance documentation and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate cross-functional work to prepare SSP evidence for ATO.
• Oversee remediation of security controls and drive issue resolution.
• Lead incident response activities and serve as incident response specialist.
