Job summary

Emerson Hospital is seeking an IT Security Analyst I to provide security operations coverage and administer security platforms. The role collaborates with IT Server, Network, Desktop, and Application teams and external vendors to implement controls and coordinate changes.

The candidate must be able to rotate on-call coverage on a weekly basis. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least one year in IT, preferably in desktop support, and awareness of

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems or related specialty strongly preferred, and/or equivalent experience/ training.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in information technology, preferably in a desktop support or other similar role, or comparable experience.
• Awareness of cybersecurity and privacy principles, cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and remediation.
• A valid Massachusetts Driver's License may be required.
• Relevant security certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide security operations coverage and platform administration.
• Daily monitoring for tickets, alerts, and incidents.
• Maintain and optimize various security applications.
• Work with IT teams and vendors to implement security controls.
• Rotate on-call coverage for one week at a time.
