Job summary

The State of Georgia is hiring an IT Security Administrator to support and enforce information security controls across the enterprise. Under the IT Security Manager, you will help administer security technologies, manage user access, and monitor systems to protect confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

You will develop and maintain security policies and SOPs, serve as escalation for incidents, and participate in on‑call rotations while assisting with system administration and networking

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Cybersecurity or equivalent; 3+ years IT experience.
• Experience with cybersecurity, networking, or systems administration preferred.
• Experience administering security tools such as SIEM, IAM, endpoint protection, firewalls, or vulnerability solutions.

Responsibilities

• Promote information security awareness across the organization.
• Administer and maintain enterprise security tools and technologies.
• Lead implementation of new security solutions and integrations.
• Manage user access rights and RBAC.
• Monitor security systems for alerts, anomalies, and risks.
• Conduct security audits and compliance checks.
