We are seeking an experienced IT Scrum Master with Siemens OpCenter MES expertise to lead the implementation of OSCAR Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
This initiative will enable Electronic Batch Records (EBR) with ERP integration for BPG SUD Logan and Nashville manufacturing sites.
The project aims to transition from a paper-based lot record system to a fully electronic batch record system, supporting the organization’s digital transformation goals.
The solution will optimize productivity, improve operational efficiency, enhance quality, and enable data-driven decision-making across manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide cross-functional teams through Agile Scrum-based project execution across development, configuration, deployment, and site rollout phases.
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Coach teams on Scrum principles and Agile best practices.
- Collaborate with IT Project Managers, business stakeholders, operations, quality, and development teams.
- Manage and maintain Agile artifacts using Scrum management tools (e.g., Jira).
- Provide visibility into project progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery metrics.
- Remove impediments and drive continuous improvement.
- Support post-development implementation, including EBR configuration, deployments, and site rollouts.
- Coordinate activities across multiple teams and manufacturing locations.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience driving IT software application projects using Agile Scrum methodologies.
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, facilitating Scrum ceremonies and coaching teams.
- Proficiency with Scrum management tools such as Jira (or Microsoft TFS).
- Strong experience across Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) phases.
- Expertise in Agile, Waterfall, and iterative development methodologies.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional and distributed teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong stakeholder communication and status reporting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Life Sciences and/or Manufacturing domains.
- Experience working with or supporting MES platforms (Siemens Camstar / OpCenter or similar).
- Background in process optimization and Agile maturity improvements.
- Experience managing multiple Scrum teams or large programs.
- Project and/or program management experience.
- Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe, or equivalent) – strongly preferred.
