Our client, a leading organization in the insurance industry, is seeking an IT - Scrum Master to join their team. As an IT - Scrum Master, you will be part of the Technology Department supporting multiple Agile teams. The ideal candidate will have strong coaching skills, active listening, a caring attitude, and forward-thinking mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: IT - Scrum Master

Location: Boston, MA (onsite 2X a week, with remote consideration for candidates able to work EST hours. Please specify location on resume.)

Pay Range: $70 - $75/hr on W2

What's the Job?

• Facilitate team ceremonies such as daily scrums, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure full team engagement and growth.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and teams to support planning and maintain a healthy backlog for effective execution.
• Shield teams from interference to enable optimal productivity and delivery.
• Coach team members on Agile practices, fostering a growth mindset and continuous improvement.
• Identify and address impediments, manage interdependencies, and support the organization’s path toward Agile maturity.

What's Needed?

• Proven experience guiding Agile teams through transformation processes.
• Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices and Agile project management techniques.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and team-building skills.
• Previous experience as a Scrum Master is required; Agile certification is preferred.
• Proficiency with Jira & Confluence is a plus.
