Job description

The IT SAP Developer is responsible for ensuring MDG and S/4 configuration synchronization, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting data migration and governance projects. This role requires expertise in SAP development, collaboration across teams, and proactive problem-solving in high-pressure scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain synchronization between MDG-relevant S/4 configurations.
• Collaborate with the S/4 configuration team to resolve sync issues.
• Generate test data and perform MDG system testing.
• Work with the MDG data team to utilize data upload tools for unit testing.
• Support data integration by aligning distribution channels from S/4 to MDG.
• Manage and lead successful projects, demonstrating expertise in data migration, governance, and development.
• Provide on-call support, troubleshooting complex technical issues within service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Work with multiple teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, including coordinating with the Basis team.
• Research and apply OSS notes for issue resolution.
• Utilize ServiceNow for ticketing and incident tracking.
• Support break/fix activities and project work within operations.
• Maintain coding guidelines, working independently with minimal mentorship.
• Analyze software requirements for design feasibility.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of S/4 HANA / SAP MDG / Techno-Functional experience.
• Hands-on expertise in SAP MDG configuration and development across MDG-C, MDG-S, MDG-M, and MDG consolidation.
• Proficiency in SAP development technologies, including:
• S/4, MDG, Fiori, ABAP, Workflow, BRF+ Rules, SOA services, BADI’s / OO ABAP, and IDocs.
