Job Title: SAP Developer & MDG Sr. Consultant

Fully Remote

Duration: 12+ Months

W2 is accepted.

Responsibilities

• Ensure MDG relevant S/4 configuration is synchronized between systems.
• Collaborate with S/4 configuration team to resolve sync issues between S/4 and MDG.
• Create test data and perform testing in MDG system.
• Work with MDG data team to utilize data upload tools for unit testing.
• Coordinate with MDG data team to obtain the distribution channel list used in XLD from S/4 to MDG and communicate with S/4 analysts.
• Manage and complete projects demonstrating business process knowledge in data migration, governance, and development.
• Work independently with minimal mentorship, reporting to team leads, applying accumulated knowledge and skills.
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues within SLA.
• Perform under pressure during system downtime and troubleshoot across multiple teams.
• Collaborate with Basis team during troubleshooting and research OSS notes as needed.
• Become proficient in using ServiceNow ticketing system.
• Support break/fix activities and some project work with the operations team.
• Participate in on-call rotations supporting the team/organization.
• Meet SLA commitments defined by IT and organization.
• Work independently as a self-starter following established coding guidelines.
• Analyze software requirements for design feasibility.

Skillset And Experience

• Apply configuration of SAP Master Data objects in SAP MDG & S/4.
• Implement SAP MDG workflows, governance models, and BRF+ rules.
• Hands-on SAP development and collaboration with SAP technical teams.
• Experience with SAP S/4, MDG, Fiori, ABAP, Workflow, BRF+ Rules, SOA services, BADI's / OO ABAP, and IDocs.
• Develop SAP MDG BPD, FSD, TSDs for RICEFW objects; configure MDG WRICEF objects.
• Lead responsibilities in at least two SAP HANA implementation or migration projects.
• Influence and collaborate across organizational levels, including business and IT.
• Experience with SAP MM, SD, FI master data areas.
• Use address validation via HANA Smart Data Quality and MDG consolidation processes.
• Experience with cutover activities and end-to-end integration testing.
• Define replication models and BADI usage for SOA services and configurations.
• Configure and extend MDG workflows for data validation, approvals, and change management, leveraging SAP Business Workflow.
• Configure, develop, debug, and test MDG applications; troubleshoot data discrepancies.

Professional Experience

• 10+ years of S/4 HANA/SAP MDG/Techno-Functional experience.
• Hands-on knowledge in SAP MDG configuration and development for MDG-C / MDG-S / MDG-M / MDG consolidation; experience with CDS Views, ODATA is a plus.

• Bachelor's Degree (minimum required)
