Job summary

Toyota Financial Services Data Governance Office is seeking a Manager, IT Risk Governance & Assessment to lead the enterprise IT risk framework and partner with senior leaders to implement governance controls. You will guide high‑impact risk assessments and drive improvements across policies, standards, and incident learnings.

We value strong analytical skills, clear communication with executives, and a proven ability to mentor teams in a regulated, fast‑moving environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in IT, cybersecurity, risk management, or related field.
• 7+ years in IT risk management, cybersecurity, compliance, or related discipline in a regulated environment.
• Experience developing IT risk governance frameworks, policies, standards, and controls such as NIST, ISO 27001 or COBIT.
• Strong analytical skills in risk identification, assessment methodologies, and root cause analysis.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical policies and controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance IT risk policies, standards, and control frameworks for technology risk management.
• Own enterprise IT Control Library and ensure alignment with regulatory expectations and industry frameworks.
• Lead enterprise-wide IT risk identification and assessment to uncover emerging risks and control gaps.
• Use incident insights to strengthen controls and improve risk posture.
• Manage and develop direct reports and matrix resources, coaching for growth.
