Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking an IT Audit, Cybersecurity & Risk Senior Consultant (Financial Services Focus) to join its Risk Advisory practice. The role focuses on helping clients assess risks, implement controls, and strengthen governance across technology, cybersecurity, and IT operations.

You will work closely with client executives, develop industry knowledge, and deliver strategic advice and executive reporting.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree required.
• 3+ years of experience required.
• CISA, CISSP, CISM, CIA or CPA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand client businesses and assist in identifying and managing financial and operational risks within client systems to ensure technology risks are managed.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of clients’ businesses and industries through direct client interaction.
• Provide strategic business advice by assisting in implementing new processes and controls addressing key risks.
• Assess, manage and optimize IT risk across cybersecurity, IT strategy and governance, regulatory/compliance, and business continuity.
• Review processes and controls against industry frameworks and communicate issues and recommendations to clients.
• Draft executive summaries and final reports for client delivery and maintain work papers per internal audit methodologies.
• Build relationships with clients and deliver superior client service.
• Continue to grow knowledge via education, training and cross-training opportunities.
