Job Summary

We are seeking an IT Risk and Control Analyst for a direct-hire opportunity in Puerto Rico within the travel, transportation, and tourism industry. This role is ideal for an IT audit, compliance, change management, or information systems professional who wants to grow in a stable, collaborative, and best-practice-oriented environment.

The IT Risk and Control Analyst will support business maturity by improving compliance processes, strengthening technical controls, supporting internal policies, and contributing to security risk management practices. This position offers exposure to regulated environments, ITIL practices, audit processes, enterprise systems, and cross-functional technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute planned testing, document identified issues, and follow up on resolution in accordance with change management policies.


• Ensure IT changes are justified, logged, classified, documented, tested, and implemented in controlled environments.


• Perform reviews of IT general controls and application controls for simple and complex information systems.


• Monitor risks within enterprise systems, including applications, physical access, user activity, and related control areas.


• Support the collection of technical documentation for audits, compliance reviews, and finding remediation.


• Serve as a liaison between application, operations, security, and risk teams to coordinate controlled deployments of new or updated solutions.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary: $50,000 to $60,000.


• Employment type: Direct hire.


• Location: Puerto Rico, including Carolina or Canóvanas area.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Coordinate risk assessment processes for IT initiatives and technology changes.


• Execute and document testing of technical controls, IT general controls, and application controls.


• Support IT audit, compliance, technical documentation, and finding remediation processes.


• Collaborate with application, security, risk, and operations teams to ensure controlled deployments.


• 3 to 5 years of experience in IT auditing, change management, information systems, compliance, or a related area.


• Knowledge of IT controls, risk assessment, change management, and process documentation.


• Familiarity with ITIL best practices and regulated systems environments.


• Ability to analyze risks, identify control gaps, and follow up on corrective actions.


• Ability to document findings, prepare technical evidence, and communicate information clearly.


• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, collaboration, and follow-up ability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience working with regulated systems.


• Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, or other credentials related to IT audit, risk, security, or compliance.


• Experience working with application controls, IT general controls, internal audits, external audits, and finding remediation.


• Knowledge of security processes, user access, activity monitoring, and change control within enterprise environments.
