Overview

This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following locations: NC, TX

Responsibilities

1. Independent Testing & Validation - Write test cases based on requirements and user stories provided, perform manual testing, create testing plans, and load them into appropriate tools. Participate in defect meetings and project routines to analyze current defects and re-tested defects.
2. Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies using defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
3. Data Analysis - Source, compile, and interpret data, analyze for accuracy and efficiency, and communicate findings effectively.
4. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage.
5. Understand SDLC processes and ensure team compliance.
6. Participate in requirements reviews and design discussions from a QA perspective.
7. Maintain and update QA documentation, processes, and best practices.
8. Ensure compliance with organizational quality standards and industry best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of QA experience in Financial Services OR High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of QA experience in Financial Services.

Preferred Qualifications include 2-4 years of QA/testing experience, understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, experience with testing tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps, knowledge of Salesforce and web testing, Agile/Scrum/Kanban experience, strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
