Job summary

Citi in New York seeks an IT Quality Intermediate Analyst to help drive QA across the software development lifecycle. You will support UAT planning and production rollout, monitor quality metrics, and ensure adherence to project standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years QA experience in the Financial Service industry preferred.
• Experience in requirement reviews & able to identify, communicate and document discrepancies.
• Understanding of QA within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Understanding of Quality Processes.
• Proven ability to work to deadlines.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• QA Experience in defining, designing & executing test cases.

Responsibilities

• Supports initiatives related to UAT process and product rollout into production with testing specialists and users.
• Conducts moderately complex process monitoring, product evaluation and audit assignments with recommendations.
• Ensures project standards and procedures are documented and followed throughout the SDLC.
• Monitors products for conformance to standards and processes for conformance to procedures.
• Documents findings and performs preliminary root cause analyses with improvements.
• Ensures corrective actions are assigned, documented and completed.
• Gathers, maintains and creates reports on quality metrics.
• Exhibits understanding of procedures within own technical area and integrates with IT Quality goals.
• Provides informal guidance to new team members.
• Performs other duties; assesses risk and ensures compliance with laws and Citi policies.
