NJM Insurance Group is seeking an analytical IT QA Automation Intern to join the Quality Engineering Team in Trenton, NJ. The role blends test automation work (60%) with development tasks (40%), with training and shadowing provided for those new to internships.

Ideal candidates are current sophomores or juniors pursuing a CS/IT degree, with knowledge of Java, C#, .NET, JavaScript, and a solid analytic mindset.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as Java, C#, .NET, JavaScript.
• Analytical mindset and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn the Quality Engineering function in SDLC and assist design, develop and improve the test automation framework written in Java.
• Work with SDETs and testers to troubleshoot automation issues and provide fixes.
• Build and deploy builds to production environments.
• Create manual and automated test scripts for the application under test.
• Execute manual and automated tests to support project delivery.
• Perform manual validation of documents against requirements.

We are looking for an analytical and inquisitive intern to join our Quality Engineering Team. The QA Automation intern will be involved in projects related to testing (60%) as well as coding and development (40%).
