Job summary

NJM Insurance Group is seeking an analytical QA Automation Intern to join our Quality Engineering Team in West Trenton, NJ. The role focuses on testing and coding, with training and shadowing provided, no prior internship required.

Responsibilities include designing and improving the Java-based test framework, troubleshooting issues, building and deploying to production, and creating both manual and automated test scripts to validate the application. 21–25 USD/hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a cumulative 3.0 GPA; 3.5+ preferred.
• Sophomore or junior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent.
• Demonstrates knowledge in one or more programming languages and scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Learn the Quality Engineering function in the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Design, develop and improve the test automation framework written in Java.
• Troubleshoot automation framework issues and apply fixes.
• Create manual and automated test scripts to test the application under test.
• Execute both manual and automated tests to support project delivery teams.
