  • 3-5 years of project management experience leading small to medium-scale projects in product development, technology, systems implementation, or related environments.
  • 3-5 years of experience utilizing project management tools and artifacts including MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Rally, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, project budgets, status reporting, and change management processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish project plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and deliver projects through full lifecycle.
  • Proven project leadership skills with the ability to mobilize teams, facilitate stakeholder alignment, resolve conflict, and drive accountability for commitments.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with ability to identify risks, analyze root causes, make informed decisions, and escalate issues when appropriate.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and communicate effectively with business, technology, and executive stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.

As a IT Program Management, Senior Specialistin the Schwab Authentication Fraud EcoSystem Portfolio Management team, you will play a key role in driving complex, business-critical technology programs that enhance internal operations and improve the delivery of products and services.

You will lead projects from initiation through implementation, partnering with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across business and technology functions to deliver outcomes that align with strategic priorities.

In this role, you will balance project oversight, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and execution while ensuring initiatives remain on schedule, within scope, and aligned to organizational objectives.

Success in this role requires strong project management capabilities, analytical thinking, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while making sound decisions. You will collaborate with diverse teams to define priorities, coordinate resources, and drive accountability across multiple workstreams. By identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing effective solutions, you will help strengthen operational efficiency, enhance stakeholder experiences, and contribute to long-term business success. This position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide initiatives, foster innovation, and deliver measurable results within a dynamic and evolving technology environment.

What you have

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of project management experience leading small to medium-scale projects in product development, technology, systems implementation, or related environments.

  • Experience within financial services, fraud, or fintech environments.
  • Experience with Agile (including SAFe), Scrum, and modern software development methodologies.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align technology investments with business objectives.
  • Experience operating in highly regulated, complex, or large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Ability to foster collaboration, adaptability, and innovation across diverse teams.
  • Experience mentoring or developing team members and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
