Job summary

Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office in Florida seeks an IT Project Manager to oversee diverse technology projects through the full lifecycle. You will plan scopes, schedules, and budgets; coordinate purchases of hardware and software; produce design drawings with Visio; and work with end users, vendors, and staff to deliver on-time, quality implementations.

The role requires coordinating testing, training, and documentation, and providing regular status updates to leadership.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with 5 years of project management experience (analysis, testing, implementation).
Associate degree in a technical field with 4 years of project management experience.
Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 3 years of project management experience.
3 years of experience in Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Information Services Division position.

Responsibilities

Manage IT-related projects and components through the project lifecycle.
Coordinate purchase, delivery, and receipt of hardware, software, and services.
Prepare detailed project plans including scopes of work, Gantt charts, and WBSs.
Create and maintain design drawings using MS Visio.
Collaborate with end users, IT staff, command staff, and vendors.
Coordinate testing activities and end-user training and documentation.
Provide timely status reports to management.
Complete other related duties as required.
