Job summary

The Project Manager at Brenntag North America sits in the PMO and drives IT and cross-functional projects to deliver on scope, schedule, and budget. You will coordinate internal teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure successful delivery.

This role emphasizes governance, transparency, and disciplined project management across the IT portfolio, with opportunities to mature PMO practices and templates within Brenntag's expanding environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience delivering IT/cross-functional projects end-to-end.
• Proven track record delivering on scope, schedule and budget.
• Strong command of PMO methodologies (Waterfall/Agile) and tools.
• Experience managing budgets, resources and vendor relationships.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, and resource plans with stakeholders.
• Lead projects through full lifecycle, managing execution, dependencies and milestones.
• Apply PMO standards, methodologies, and tooling; maintain documentation and provide status reporting.
• Proactively identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues; drive resolution.
• Manage project budgets, track spend, coordinate internal and external resources.
• Engage sponsors, IT teams, and third parties; manage expectations and communications.
• Coordinate with CAB and delivery teams for controlled deployments.
• Contribute to maturing PMO practices, templates, and standards.
