About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The IT Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

LOCATION: This position is open for remote work. We are seeking IT project management experience with Oracle ERP implementations, Security and/or Infrastructure related projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and implementation of IT projects.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Proficient in developing standard procedures and operating documents
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  • Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Collaboration across functional, technical and production-support teams to ensure effective project management and testing
  • Manage the Oracle quarterly updates projects to ensure testing is complete and accurate
  • Manage the Oracle report development project, ensuring reports get promoted to production in a timely manner
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and identify vulnerabilities for appropriate improvements.
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of regression and automated testing
  • Collaborate with IT and Oracle Security and Controls teams to ensure appropriate access is assigned to respective parties completing the testing and/or project.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
  • Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management in the IT sector.
  • IT project management experience with Oracle ERP implementations, Security and/or Infrastructure related projects is highly preferred.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
