Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) is seeking a Project Manager in the Information Technology division to plan, execute, and close IT projects aligned with business objectives. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and communicate status to stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires coordinating internal teams and external vendors, ensuring on-time delivery, and maintaining PMO-compliant documentation. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in project coordination, administration, or related role.
• Basic understanding of project management concepts or methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and deliverables.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within defined scope.
• Drive accountability across cross-functional teams.
• Communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders.
• Lead project meetings and ensure participation.
• Coordinate internal teams and external vendors.
• Monitor project budget and track actual vs. forecasted costs.
• Ensure appropriate resource allocation and utilization.
• Escalate potential cost overruns or resource constraints.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Maintain issues logs, assign ownership, and track resolution.
• Escalate critical risks/issues to leadership or steering committee.
• Maintain complete and accurate project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with PMO standards, tools, and methodologies.
• Provide status reporting and metrics to support decision-making.
