Job summary

The Washington State Housing Finance Commission (WSHFC) is seeking an IT Project Manager in Seattle to lead complex agency IT initiatives and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. The role requires strategic leadership, governance, and mentorship of project teams, with telework options and weekly in-person collaboration in Seattle.

A strong background in enterprise IT project management and familiarity with Smartsheet are preferred.

Qualifications

• Extensive, progressive professional background in leading complex IT initiatives.
• Experience managing enterprise IT projects from inception to delivery.
• Strong governance, budgeting, scheduling, risk management and change control.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifecycle of IT projects to drive successful implementations and transformations.
• Oversee project governance, budgeting, scheduling, resources, risk mitigation, and change control.
• Provide regular updates to sponsors and executive management on program progress, risks, and milestones.
• Mentor project team members to build high-performing groups.
• Define clear scopes, goals and deliverables with teams and sponsors.
