The Department of Natural Resources Information Technology (DNR IT) is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager in Madison, WI. This full‑time, hybrid role focuses on leading strategic agency IT projects, delivering on scope, time, and budget, while also performing business analysis in collaboration with IT professionals.

You will report to the DNR IT PMO Supervisor, develop project artifacts, manage risks, and drive seamless adoption of technical solutions.

Formación

10 years of experience in managing complex IT projects and leading teams.
Experience collaborating with IT professionals to translate business needs into technical specifications.
Proficiency with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall methodologies.
Strong business analysis skills covering workflows, use cases, user stories, time and cost estimates.

Responsabilidades

Develop project charters, plans, and artifacts detailing scope, timeline, resources, and budget.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure on-schedule task completion.
Monitor risks, issues, and progress; address blockers proactively.
Facilitate stakeholder meetings to review updates and gather feedback.
Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and align with goals.
Maintain project documentation including status reports and risk logs.
Support change management and oversee closure activities.
