Job summary

The Waldinger Corporation in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Project Manager, IT to lead mid-to-large IT initiatives from kickoff to rollout.

You will work with cross-functional teams across operations, finance, and field teams, shaping AI-driven tooling and automation projects, while maintaining delivery schedules and measurable outcomes. This is a high-visibility role that requires strong planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication to deliver business impact and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years delivering IT projects, initiatives, or programs.
• Bachelor's degree in a technology area or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading AI-related or automation initiatives strongly preferred.
• PM or Agile certifications preferred (PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP).

Responsibilities

• Delivery Ownership: Lead IT initiatives end to end ensuring alignment with business goals and success metrics.
• Planning and Execution: Build and maintain project plans, schedules, and dependencies across concurrent initiatives.
• Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify risks, communicate impacts, and recommend actions.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain relationships with stakeholders across operations, finance, and field teams, communicating progress and decisions.
• Financial and Delivery Management: Track costs, resources, and vendor spend to align with scope and budget.
• Delivery Practices: Drive planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement, including AI-assisted tooling.
