Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems in San Antonio, TX is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead technology modernization, application and infrastructure upgrade projects, and enterprise vulnerability remediation programs onsite.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams across infrastructure, application development, cybersecurity, and architecture; manage schedules, budgets, risks, and executive updates while aligning technology investments with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of IT Project Management experience, including over 3 years managing technology modernization or infrastructure upgrade projects and over 3 years managing vulnerability remediation or cybersecurity initiatives.
• Strong understanding of software development, infrastructure, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity principles.
• Experience with creating and managing project schedules, budgets, and RAID logs.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery for technology modernization and cybersecurity remediation initiatives.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate activities across infrastructure, application development, cybersecurity, architecture, and business teams.
• Facilitate project governance meetings, status reporting, and executive updates.
• Manage modernization initiatives involving legacy application upgrades, cloud migrations, infrastructure refreshes, and platform consolidations.
• Lead enterprise vulnerability remediation programs addressing infrastructure, operating systems, databases, applications, and cloud environments.
• Partner with business leaders, security teams, IT leadership, vendors, and external partners.
• Communicate project status, risks, issues, and mitigation plans to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
