Job summary

Metlife is seeking an IT Project Coordinator to drive integration projects for new locations. Reporting to the Digital Portfolio Manager, you will oversee integration activities and ensure delivery from initiation to completion.

Responsibilities include planning, coordinating resources, maintaining documentation, and communicating clearly with stakeholders. This is a full-time, in-person role with a $60–62 per hour pay rate and relocation to Dallas, TX required.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Project Manager, ideally within IT or technology sectors.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to identify the root cause of an issue.
  • Ability to adjust communication style depending on audience.
  • Strong familiarity with project management tools such as Office 365, Confluence, and Jira.
  • PMI certification is a plus.

  • Ensure the project is progressing in a visible and transparent fashion; that activities are not occurring in a vacuum.
  • Be able to act as a translator from technical to business speak.
  • Provide communication in a digestible format to varying audiences.
  • Develop detailed project plans to track progress and ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties for flawless execution of projects.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Work with the Portfolio Manager on increasing visibility further up the demand pipeline for new sites

Job Overview

The IT Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in the execution and completion of IT integration projects for new locations. Reporting to the Digital Portfolio Manager, the ideal candidate will oversee and execute integration activities for new locations within the company. The IT Integration Lead will provide general oversight on these activities. It will be up to the Project Manager I to ensure successful project delivery from initiation to completion.

Job Details

Job Type: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $62.00 per hour
