Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager for a 24-month onsite contract in Orlando, FL. You will identify, plan and coordinate related projects within a program, handling interdependencies and delivering on business strategies.

You will work with engineering, product, and leadership to optimize processes, govern Agile ceremonies, and manage budgets. Expected to drive milestones, dashboards, and executive reporting while coordinating with multiple teams and vendors.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of technical project/program management with enterprise systems.
  • Knowledge of Cloud, APIs, services, databases, and SDLC.
  • Strong influence, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Agile, Lean, Kanban, Waterfall, and blended methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of Agile technical practices, DevOps and testing concepts (CI/CD, TDD).
  • Experience coaching teams on project management practices, incl. Agile/Lean/Waterfall.
  • Experience with AI technologies and related strategies.
  • Strong ability to understand architectural and technical aspects of projects.
  • Experience managing large project budgets.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Jira, Tableau, PowerBI.

Responsibilities

  • Drives execution and delivery of technical projects through full delivery life cycle.
  • Collaborates with engineering, product, and leadership to establish cross-functional processes.
  • Defines and manages Agile ceremonies and governance for large project teams.
  • Maintains monthly forecasts including resource allocations and vendor schedules.
  • Leads program status meetings with partners to align needs and requirements.
  • Builds program reports and dashboards for sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Monitors and adjusts plans to meet business goals and milestones.
  • Acts as a liaison among Product, Design, Tech, vendors and delivery teams.
  • Coordinates dependencies, resolves blockers, and manages RAID.
  • Ensures proper project closure with lessons learned and final reporting.
  • Oversees Jira and Confluence administration and governance.
  • Supports roadmap planning and infrastructure migration coordination.
  • Coaches cross-functional teams and supports Jira Cloud migration readiness.

Job description

Job Title: IT Project Manager
Location: Orlando, FL (Onsite)
Duration: 24 month contract
Rate: $80 - $88/hr W2
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
As a Senior Technical Project Manager you will identify, plan and coordinate a set of related projects within a program and manage their interdependencies in support of specific business strategies. You will also apply project management principles and techniques to lead project schedule, scope, quality, cost and performance risks. The Senior Technical Project Manager will work closely with cross-discipline technology teams, leadership and business partners to understand technical and business direction, milestones and budget, as well as provide thought leadership to project management team.

What You’ll Do
  • Drives execution and delivery of technical projects through full delivery life cycle ensuring project is delivered timely and on-budget.
  • Works with engineering teams, including Software Engineers, Product Managers, Architects, and leadership to establish processes across all program areas that will ensure success on strategically prioritized projects and improve efficiency.
  • Defines, optimizes, and manages Agile project management ceremonies and processes for large project teams.
  • Maintain monthly forecast submissions, including adjustments to resource allocations, vendor payment schedules, and forecasts for partner teams
  • Conduct regular program status meetings with all partners, ensuring needs and requirements are met
  • Build program reports and dashboards for program management, sponsors, and partners
  • Monitors & adjusts program plan to respond to unplanned changes, ensuring program is progressing to meet business goals
  • Act as a primary liaison among multiple teams, including Product Management, Design, Technology, vendors, and other key functional delivery teams
  • Lead project delivery by coordinating cross functional dependencies, resolving blockers, and managing RAID to ensure milestones stay on track
  • Escalate key issues and risks to ensure timely resolution and mitigation
  • Ensure proper project closure including lessons learned, transition and hand-off to production operations support, and final financial reporting
  • Own Jira and Confluence administration, governance, and executive reporting, ensuring consistent Agile processes, traceability, and delivery visibility
  • Drive roadmap planning, dependency mapping, and infrastructure migration coordination using Advanced Roadmaps and aligned tracking artifacts
  • Support cross functional teams through training, coaching, and program level coordination across Scrum teams and vendors
  • Support Jira Cloud migration readiness, including cleanup, process alignment, and adoption support
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum of 5 years of technical project/program management experience working with technical teams developing enterprise class solutions
  • Understanding of Cloud, APIs, services, database technologies, technologist roles and responsibilities, capabilities & platform dependencies, software development lifecycle, engineering and/or product development
  • Influence and negotiation, communication, professional maturity & organizational savvy, relationship building, dependency mapping
  • Hands-on experience with practices such as Agile, Lean, Kanban, Waterfall as well as extensive experience with pragmatic blending of styles to facilitate collaboration and delivery
  • Deep understanding of Agile technical practices, DevOps and testing concepts (CI/CD, TDD)
  • Significant experience in coaching and mentoring teams on project management practices including Agile, Lean, Kanban, Waterfall
  • Experience and knowledge of AI emerging technologies, nomenclature and strategies
  • Excellent ability to understand architectural and technical aspects of a project
  • Experience managing large project budgets
  • Experience with tools such as: Microsoft suite, Keynote, Smartsheet, MyPPM (Clarity), MyJira, Tableau, Claude, and PowerBI
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Experience in supporting large-scale, global software development programs
