Job summary

Comtech LLC in Bethesda, MD seeks a senior IT Project Manager to oversee the operations, maintenance, and enhancement of our federal client’s business application platform. You will manage enterprise-scale initiatives within a federal context and coordinate with COR and stakeholders to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires deep experience in IT project management, agile leadership, and the ability to adopt new technologies quickly.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT project management experience.
• 3+ years managing enterprise IT projects.
• 2+ years leading IT projects for the federal government.
• 2+ years leading agile/iterative EPLCs.
• Ability to lead a team in adopting new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management and administrative support based on inputs from the COR and stakeholders.
• Coordinate and lead meetings with owners and stakeholders to document system requirements.
• Provide financial management, timekeeping, status reporting, and communications to meet milestones within scope/budget.
• Lead schedule and task management for iterative/agile releases.
• Assess contractor resources, schedule, and costs with COR to ensure alignment.

Location: Bethesda, MD, USA

SalaryRange: $135,000 - $150,000 per year (based on experience, qualifications, and geographic location)

We're seeking a senior-level IT Project Manager for the operations, maintenance, and enhancement of our federal client's business application platform! Ready for your next enterprise-level project in the federal domain?

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide project management and administrative project support and oversee all aspects of project work based on inputs/priorities from agency COR and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate and lead meetings with business/system owners and necessary stakeholders to understand/document desired system requirements.
• Provide effective financial management and timekeeping, status reporting, briefings, and communication to ensure milestones/tasks are met on time and within scope/budget.
• Lead and coordinate project schedule and task management activities such as ensuring proper estimation, planning, execution and tracking of iterative/agile releases.
• Continually assess contractor team and work with COR and other stakeholders to ensure resources, schedule, and task costs are in alignment.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• 10 years of experience in IT project management.
• 3 years of experience managing IT projects at the enterprise level.
• 2 years of experience leading IT projects for the federal government.
• 2 years of experience leading projects in agile/iterative EPLCs.
• Ability to lead a team in analyzing and adopting new technologies quickly.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust (MBI).
