Job summary

Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) invites an IT Project Intern to support project documentation, archiving, and follow-up under the supervision of a Sr. Project Manager. You will collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and an Agile Coach to ensure processes align with planned timelines.

This is a temporary internship paid hourly with no benefits, up to 40 hours per week. Pay scales based on semester hours and degree status: $20, $21, or $23 per hour.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a student (full- or part-time).
• GPA 2.0 or better.
• Fall academic transcript from the current or previous term.
• Eligible to work in the United States; 18+.
• Meets attending school's internship program requirements.
• Pursuing a degree in Business, IS, Cybersecurity, CS, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers and teams to execute processes per plan.
• Coordinate meetings and populate roadmaps/PPM tools.
• Maintain project sites and track progress.
• Manage documentation versioning and dissemination.
• Improve project management processes and procedures.
