Job summary

Jobtailor in Connecticut seeks a senior Technology M&A Project Lead to guide cross-functional teams through integration programs, coordinating priorities, milestones, and governance. You will build plans, templates, and knowledge assets while ensuring alignment with executives on progress and outcomes.

You will leverage SharePoint Online and Confluence to organize content, publish status reports, and drive continuous improvement across teams.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management and content or knowledge management experience.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects in a matrixed organization.
  • Working knowledge of Agile and the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience developing project plans, governance materials, status reports, process documentation, and reusable knowledge assets.
  • Experience using SharePoint, Confluence, or similar content and collaboration platforms.
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, organize competing priorities, and move work forward with limited direction.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to clear, accurate work.
  • Ability to work effectively with Technology leaders, business partners, acquisition teams, and external vendors.
  • Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, integrations, or divestitures preferred.
  • Familiarity with M&A transaction terms, integration activities, and governance practices preferred.
  • Experience supporting Technology integration budgets, spending, or forecasts preferred.
  • Experience leading project managers, analysts, specialists, or technical team members preferred.
  • Experience using artificial intelligence or automation to improve project and content management processes preferred.
  • Experience designing knowledge structures, sites, or content experiences in SharePoint Online or Confluence preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in project management, information technology, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Project management, Agile, or change management certification preferred.
  • Home internet connection through a cable broadband or fiber optic provider with at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload if working from home

Responsibilities

  • Partner with integration management offices to align M&A processes, training, tools, and support.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend solutions to improve project execution.
  • Develop governance and reporting practices covering progress, risks, issues, decisions, and outcomes.
  • Coordinate project schedules and assignments across internal teams, acquisition partners, and external vendors.
  • Support Technology integration budget management by tracking spending, forecasts, and project-priority alignment.
  • Guide teams in applying project management, content management, Agile, and software development lifecycle practices.
  • Lead the design and organization of M&A content in SharePoint Online and Confluence
  • Publish project status reports and executive-level materials
  • Evaluate approaches and recommend solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and user experience
  • Explore responsible uses of artificial intelligence to streamline processes and strengthen knowledge management
  • Provide thought leadership and consultation on project governance, process design, and content strategy
  • Stay informed about advances in project management, knowledge management, collaboration platforms, and M&A practices
