Job summary

NetTech, a New Charter Technologies company, is seeking an IT Project Engineer to join our Monroe, LA team. You will deploy and configure end-user tech, lead Microsoft 365 migrations, Entra ID/Intune deployments, and network infrastructure setups.

Onsite work, collaborative projects, and thorough discovery are essential. You will document environments, communicate with clients and vendors, and support server/virtualization tasks.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a Tier 2/3, proactive, or professional services engineering role (MSP experience preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and Defender
• Hands-on experience with SonicWall and Ubiquiti UniFi platforms
• Experience working in ConnectWise Manage and/or ConnectWise Sell
• Exceptional communication skills and professional client interaction are core expectations

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and install desktops, laptops, and end-user technology
• Carry out Microsoft 365 migrations, tenant consolidations, and modernization projects
• Deploy and configure Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Conditional Access, and Defender solutions
• Install and configure SonicWall firewalls, UniFi switches, wireless access points, and network infrastructure
• Perform workstation refreshes, hardware deployments, and OS migrations
• Assist with server, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure projects
• Coordinate implementation activities with clients, vendors, and internal teams
• Validate completed work and confirm documentation for project handoff
• Document network, workstation, server, and Microsoft 365 environments during onboarding
• Identify infrastructure deficiencies, security risks, and technology gaps
• Create remediation recommendations and project scopes
• Work with vCIO and Client Success teams on improvement opportunities
• Produce accurate discovery documentation for quotes and planning
• Keep detailed notes in ConnectWise Manage and provide status updates

You'll spend most of your time deploying and configuring technology, from new client onboardings and PC deployments to Microsoft 365 migrations and network installs. You'll also help us understand each new client's environment through discovery work.
