Job summary

Texas State Technical College seeks a Manager of IT Project Management to lead the planning, governance, and delivery of technology projects across the college. You will establish consistent PM practices, improve portfolio visibility, and align initiatives with college priorities.

Reporting to the Director of IT Operational Services, you will manage scope, resources, schedules, and risks while guiding a team through hybrid delivery models and organizational change management to ensure delivery

Qualifications

5+ years leading enterprise technology projects or programs
2+ years supervisory or team-lead experience with mentoring project professionals
Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Business/PM or related field

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and strategic direction for IT project delivery
Governance, planning, and portfolio visibility across projects
Lead cross-functional teams and manage resources, schedules, dependencies, risks
Collaborate with IT leadership, technical teams, and external partners
Establish PM standards, templates, and performance metrics
Balance governance with agile, hybrid delivery for varying project sizes
Drive organizational change management and stakeholder engagement
