Job summary

National Interstate Insurance Company is seeking an Associate Project Manager to join our team in a hybrid role based out of Richfield, OH. The position requires coordinating IT projects, maintaining schedules, budgets, and communications with stakeholders.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and 1–3 years of related experience, with familiarity in Agile and Scrum practices. On-site presence is expected multiple days per week with some remote work depending on business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, CS or related field.
• 1–3 years of related project management experience.
• Ability to plan, execute and monitor IT projects.
• Experience with agile frameworks and Scrum Master role is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing IT project plans with scope, goals, resources, budget and timing.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
• Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders clearly.
• Identify and manage project risks and issues; assist with mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with team to drive accountability for tasks.
• Maintain high-quality project deliverables meeting standards and customer expectations.
• Track performance to assess goal achievement.
• Manage changes in scope, schedule, and costs using verification techniques.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Provide regular status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
