Job summary

General Dynamics - Bath Iron Works is seeking a Business Analyst to join the IT Project Management team in Bath, ME. This role focuses on requirements analysis, process modeling, and coordinating with stakeholders to drive project milestones.

Onsite only, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality in a manufacturing context. The position requires 3+ years of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related work experience, preferably in a large-scale manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering or related field preferred.
• Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Smartsheet.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify and establish scope and parameters of requirements analysis to define impact, outcome criteria, and metrics.
• Prioritize collected requirements with stakeholders and project teams.
• Translate user requirements into functional specifications for developers.
• Create process models, specifications, diagrams and charts for the project team.
• Assist with User Acceptance Testing against the requirements.
• Collaborate with project sponsors to determine project scope and vision.
• Provide administrative, analytical, and coordination support to the PMO.
