Job summary

General Dynamics – Bath Iron Works is seeking a motivated IT Business Analyst to join the BIW BOS-based IT Project Management team in Bath, ME. You will coordinate with stakeholders, translate requirements into functional specs, and support testing and project delivery in a safety-conscious manufacturing setting.

The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and proficiency with Smartsheet.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related work experience, preferably in a large-scale manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering or related field preferred.
• Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Smartsheet.

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply BIW safety policies in Main Yard operations.
• Identify scope and parameters of requirements analysis for projects and define impact, outcomes, and metrics.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications for developers and project teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize requirements and support purchasing efforts.
• Provide administrative and coordination support across the Project Management Office to improve workflow.
