Job summary

Fairfax County Government seeks an experienced business analyst to lead IT deployments and project management for the Department of Economic Initiatives. You will evaluate technology needs, oversee procurement, and act as primary liaison for security and contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field and four years of experience
• Ability to analyze business processes and develop/maintain main business systems
• Experience with IT procurement and contracts is a plus
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute IT projects including gathering user requirements and monitoring vendor deliverables
• Research enhancements to business operations and implement process improvements
• Develop solutions using SharePoint, Power Platform, and Drupal
• Serve as lead system administrator for agency systems
• Develop reports and dashboards with Excel and Power BI for data-driven decisions
• Manage IT contracts and vendor relationships
• Prioritize requests for new or enhanced systems and coordinate timelines
• Prepare technical documentation and user training materials
