Job summary

The Culinary Institute of America is seeking an IT Project and Program Manager to plan, lead, and ensure on-time delivery of technology initiatives ranging from routine operational tasks to mid-size, cross-functional agile projects. The role will establish and maintain project management standards, templates, and governance used across IT and by key stakeholders.

You will manage a portfolio of initiatives, coordinate with internal delivery teams and external partners, and mentor IT staff on PM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years managing IT projects, with governance or process improvement.
• Preferred PMP, CAPM, CSM, or PMI-ACP certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and close a portfolio of IT initiatives with defined scope, schedule, and budget.
• Lead agile ceremonies and apply hybrid approaches when appropriate.
• Track risks, issues, dependencies, and budget variance; escalate blockers.
• Develop and maintain standard PM methodology, templates, and governance.
• Define intake and prioritization for IT projects and enhancements.
• Coach staff and stakeholders on PM standards and tools; promote adoption.
• Coordinate with internal delivery teams and external partners/vendors.
