Job summary

Security Service Federal Credit Union is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee retail banking system development and vendor integration projects. You will lead cross-functional teams, build detailed work breakdown structures, and ensure on-time delivery within budget and quality standards.

The role requires a PMP certification or equivalent, a Bachelor’s degree in IS or Business, and 8+ years of PM experience in financial services settings. Flex hours including weekends may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IS or Business field or equivalent education and/or experience.
• PMI-PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Eight+ years of project management experience in financial services software development, technical integration, or operations.
• Strong writing and communication skills with ability to manage stakeholders in a matrix environment.
• Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Flexibility to work additional hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of retail banking system development and vendor implementations.
• Leads cross-functional teams to drive projects to completion.
• Creates and maintains project task schedules and work estimates.
• Assesses dependencies, critical path, and manages scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
• Prepares status reports, meeting minutes, and stakeholder communications.
