Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced IT Program Manager to support large-scale technology initiatives across Commonwealth of Virginia agencies. This high-impact role focuses on program management, governance, and benefits realization, coordinating interdependent IT projects to achieve shared objectives.

The position requires leading program-level governance, resource planning, and executive stakeholder engagement across multi-year efforts.

Qualifications

• 7+ years IT program and project management experience.
• Experience managing programs with multiple interdependent projects.
• Strong background in benefits realization and governance.
• Expertise in resource planning and dependency management.
• Experience facilitating executive steering committees and governance boards.
• Able to communicate with senior stakeholders clearly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple IT projects within a program portfolio.
• Manage program-level schedules, resources, dependencies, risks, and governance.
• Track and report program benefits throughout multi-year initiatives.
• Facilitate steering committee and executive governance sessions.
• Resolve resource conflicts across projects sharing resources.
• Deliver executive-ready status reports with a program view.
• Collaborate with agency senior leaders to drive alignment.
