Job description

Job Title: Sr. Oracle DBA

Location: Remote

Current Database Technologies include, but are not limited to:

• Relational Database Platforms:
• Oracle, including DB support hosted on Oracle Exadata
• Microsoft SQL Server on VMware
• MySQL on VMware

Typical Database tasks include, but are not limited to:

1. Design, provision, installation, configuration, and administration
2. Monitoring and alerts configuration
3. Troubleshooting complex technical issues
4. Managing inventory and metrics (CPU, memory, disk I/O, disk space, etc.)
5. Backup and restore procedures
6. Managing user access
7. Performing upgrades and patches, including assessing impact on production databases prior to implementation
