Position Overview:

The IT Procurement Specialist supports all Mosaic Health business units by managing IT purchasing activities, including vendor communication, purchase order processing, and contract administration. This role ensures efficient procurement of IT goods and services while maintaining compliance with policies and healthcare regulations such as HIPAA.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in processing IT purchase orders and tracking deliveries.
2. Coordinate with vendors for quotes, invoice management, and timely payments.
3. Support negotiations and contract administration for IT procurement.
4. Maintain accurate records of purchases and vendor agreements.
5. Collaborate with IT and finance teams to adhere to budgets.
6. Track IT assets and manage their lifecycle.
7. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and healthcare regulations.
8. Provide excellent service to internal teams and patients.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in IT procurement or purchasing, preferably in healthcare.
• Familiarity with IT asset management and procurement tools.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
• Professional certifications like CPM or CPSM are a plus.
• Commitment to service excellence, professionalism, and integrity.

Physical Demands:

Primarily sedentary work involving occasional lifting up to 15 lbs., repetitive motions, and close visual work such as data analysis and reading.
