Job summary

The Virginia Office of the Attorney General seeks an Information Technology Procurement Manager to lead IT contracting activities, negotiate terms, and manage the contract execution process in a public-service environment.

The role requires strong knowledge of VPPA, state procurement policies, and experience with RFPs/IFBs, plus excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Preference given to candidates with five years of state procurement experience and related certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ state procurement experience preferred.
• Experience developing RFPs, IFBs and other contract documents.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as key contact and SME for IT contract activities, including negotiations, terms, conditions, modifications and remedies.
• Manage contract execution process, resolve issues, mitigate delays, assist with audits and disputes.
• Ensure compliance with VPPA and state procurement policies and procedures.
