Job description

Overview

Dragos is on a relentless mission to defend industrial organizations that provide us with the necessities of modern civilization: running water, functioning electricity, and safe industrial working environments. As the market leader in ICS/OT Cybersecurity, we are dedicated to arming our customers with best-in-class technology, threat intelligence, and services to protect their systems as effectively and efficiently as possible. We’re a remote-first culture with operations in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and APAC. We’re looking for mission-oriented teammates who embody our core values of authenticity, transparency and trust. Are you ready to make a difference? Come join a mission that can save the world!

About the role:

Dragos is looking for a detail-oriented IT Procurement Manager to join our IT team. In this role, you will oversee strategic sourcing, procurement operations, and vendor management across hardware, software, cloud services, and professional services. Your focus will be on driving cost-saving initiatives while improving service quality and supporting broader business goals. You will report to the IT Program Manager and work closely with teams across IT, FP&A, GRC, and Accounting. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, navigate challenges diplomatically, and ensure procurement efforts align with company objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute end‑to‑end procurement strategies for IT hardware, software, cloud services, and professional services.
  • Manage vendor relationships, monitor performance, and mitigate risks to maximize strategic value.
  • Process and oversee IT purchase requests, track budgets, and identify cost‑saving opportunities (e.g., tool consolidation, AWS spend optimization).
  • Conduct RFP/RFI exercises for major IT investments and manage contract renewals to ensure continuity.
  • Resolve procurement issues—such as order delays, invoice discrepancies, and returns—and adjust orders based on inventory or schedule changes.
  • Analyze market trends and spend data to inform procurement policy, supplier evaluation frameworks, and strategic sourcing decisions.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, with a strong preference for IT-specific procurement (hardware, software, SaaS, and cloud).
  • Proven track record of successful vendor negotiations and contract management.
  • Strong understanding of IT purchasing cycles and technologies, including AWS.
  • Experience running RFPs and evaluating competitive bids.
  • Advanced analytical skills for spend tracking and cost modeling.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working within cross-functional teams including FP&A, IT Security, and Legal.
  • Proficiency with procurement platforms, contract management tools, and financial reporting software.

Compensation

  • Salary: $130,000
  • Competitive Equity Package
  • Comprehensive Benefits Plan
