Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking a Principal SAP FICO Consultant in Irving, TX. You will define problem statements, evaluate options, and provide recommendations, planning configurations and conducting pilots as part of client engagements.

You will lead demonstrations, POC workshops, and prepare budgets while collaborating with offshore/onshore teams to deliver integrated SAP FICO solutions for clients in regulated environments.

Detailed Job Description

We are seeking a Principal Consultant specializing in SAP FICO. As a Principal Consultant, you will play a key role in the consulting team, helping clients define problem statements, evaluate solution options, and make recommendations. You will plan configuration activities, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots, and assist in resolving queries related to requirements and solution design. You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops, and prepare effort estimates that suit customer budgetary requirements and align with the organization’s financial guidelines. Additionally, you will support knowledge transfer to provide value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 10 - 15 years of experience in Information Technology (Principal Consultant).

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 12 years of experience in Configuration/solutions evaluation/Validation/Development and deployment.
• Minimum 4-6 years of SAP project implementation experience in SAP FICO and integration with other process areas.
• At least two to three end-to-end implementation projects, with at least one performed as Solution Architect, preferably at client location.
• At least 6 years of experience in Business Process Consulting, problem definition, Architecture/Design/Detailing of Processes.
• Strong hands-on experience in and knowledge of design, configuration, and testing of core Financial Accounting (FI) and Managerial Accounting (CO).
• Strong experience and knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Product Costing/Actual Costing/Material Ledger, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center.
• Strong experience and knowledge of key integration points with SAP FICO and other SAP modules, including COPA, New GL, SD, MM, EWM, etc.
• SAP FICO, Reporting, and Allocations experience is a plus.
• Able to combine strong functional experience with ABAP/technical skillset to debug and implement solutions to client’s customized SAP solution.
• Strong understanding of business processes in the life sciences/pharmaceutical domain.
• Strong understanding of GXP and SOX requirements. Should have working experience in a highly regulated environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the business.
• Strong leadership skills. Ability to lead team in resolving complex issues in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
• Strong Client Facing experience, great communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience in multiple, full lifecycle SAP S/4 FICO project implementations.
• Ability to work with offshore teams and coordinate work delivery between onsite and offshore.
