Responsibilities

• Directly working for the MD and should possess the ability to communicate and present at an executive level
• Financial reporting and analysis for IT
• Roll up all IT spend for a total cost of ownership and show backs
• Managing relationships with key stakeholders to drive data collections and reporting
• Understanding contract forecasting
• Creating an IT Portfolio Plan outlining projects, programs and initiatives
• Developing and enforcing IT portfolio/program/project methodologies
• Collaborating with EA on governance framework and roles, responsibilities, and compliance
• Annual planning sessions with key stakeholders to identify top priorities
• Centralizing IT project intake to confirm funding, resources, and risks
• Developing risk prioritization matrix for projects
• Prioritizing and sequencing projects by strategy, resources, risk, and objective alignment
• Capacity planning for resource needs and scheduling
• Identifying dependencies and critical paths
• Conducting portfolio reviews with senior leadership
• Developing and maintaining a risk management plan
• Continuously reviewing portfolio for improvements
• Implementing reporting metrics for leadership visibility
• Ensuring QA and audits with compliance
• Indirectly manages IT Project Managers and Business Analysts
• Performs related duties as required

IT Portfolio Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Directly working for the MD and should possess the ability to communicate and present at an executive level
• Financial reporting
• Financial analysis for IT
• Rolling up all IT spend for a total cost of ownership and show backs
• Managing relationships with key stakeholders to drive data collections and reporting
• Understanding contract forecasting
• Creating an IT Portfolio Plan, which outlines the structure and composition of the IT Portfolio, including the list of projects, programs, and other initiatives
• Collaborating to develop, manage, and enforce IT portfolio/program/project methodologies and disciplines to ensure strategic alignment with technologies and business goals
• Working together with EA on a governance framework to document portfolio management processes, standards, and governance practices, defining roles, responsibilities, decision-making procedures, and compliance measures
• Conducting annual planning sessions with key stakeholders to identify top technology priorities for current and future fiscal years
• Centralizing and overseeing the intake process of technology projects to confirm funding, resources, and risk requirements
• Developing and maintaining a project risk prioritization matrix tool to assess projects
• Driving the process with key stakeholders to prioritize and sequence projects based on their strategic importance, resource availability, risk exposure, and alignment with business objectives
• Capacity planning for initial and ongoing identification of resource needs and scheduling will be used for making critical portfolio decisions
• Identifying dependencies and critical paths
• Conducting regular portfolio reviews with senior leadership to enable informed decisions about the direction of IT investments
• Developing and maintaining a risk management plan to mitigate risks that may impact the successful delivery of portfolio projects and programs
• Continuously reviewing the portfolio to identify opportunities for improvement or consolidation
• Implementing innovative reporting metrics to provide visibility into portfolio performance for senior leadership and stakeholders across the IT organization
• Implementing quality assurance processes and audits together with the compliance team to ensure that projects are delivered timely, meet the highest standards, and meet user expectations
• Indirectly manages work from IT Project Managers, IT Senior Project Managers, and Business Analysts
• Performs related duties as required
• Tools to be used in this role include Tableau, Sievo, ServiceNow SPM, Asana, Excel, Smartsheet, PowerPoint, SAP, Ariba CM, and Jira
