Responsibilities

The IT Policy and Process Lead is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining organizational policies and processes to ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and alignment with business objectives. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess current workflows, identify improvement opportunities, and develop standardized procedures that enhance performance and mitigate risks.

  • Develop, document, and update policies and procedures to support organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze existing processes, identify inefficiencies or gaps, and recommend actionable solutions for optimization.
  • Lead the implementation of new processes, ensuring smooth adoption across departments through training and change management.
  • Monitor compliance with established policies and processes, conducting audits and reporting findings to leadership.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align policies with industry standards, legal requirements, and company strategy.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data and feedback to refine workflows.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to teams on policy and process-related matters.

The ideal candidate will be located in the Central or Eastern time zone.

Education / Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in process improvement, policy development, or a similar role.
  • Experience with common Security and Policy/Process Frameworks (ITIL, ISO27001, NIST/CMMC) and auditing practices
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex workflows and propose effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on ensuring accuracy and compliance in all documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience with process mapping software (e.g., Archer) or other GRC mapping software enterprise systems.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks relevant to the industry.
  • Prior leadership or team coordination experience.
  • The ideal candidate will be located in the Central or Eastern time zone.
