Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced IT infrastructure engineer to automate provisioning, build Ansible playbooks, and manage cloud and on-premises platforms. You will work across AWS and internal networks to ensure secure, scalable deployments.

Responsibilities include creating CloudFormation scripts, maintaining firewall rules, and aligning with SLAs while leveraging Agile/Kanban processes for continuous improvement and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience administering Linux server environments.
• Experience with infrastructure security, automation, and patch management.
• Ability to translate designs into secure, operational infrastructure.
• Experience with Agile environments and Kanban.

Responsibilities

• Manage application server provisioning through automated processes.
• Create, edit, and maintain Ansible playbooks for provisioning and patch management.
• Manage load balancing and traffic rules across on-premises and AWS.
• Develop and maintain AWS CloudFormation, AWS Config, and AWS Lambda scripts.
• Coordinate with infrastructure teams to meet SLAs.
• Maintain ~2,500 firewall rules for secure communications.
• Administer application server platforms running Python, Java, Ruby, Node.js, PHP on CentOS.
• Pursue continuous improvements focusing on security, automation, and configuration management.
