Description

The Product Consultant for Data, Analytics, and AI contributes to developing product strategy, vision, and roadmaps that align with the architecture and technology direction of the business unit, consistent with enterprise priorities, as agreed with product-line management.

This role oversees industry trends, product research activities, and collaborates closely with key stakeholders and product managers to understand and interpret business objectives to inform the Data and AI product roadmaps.

Position Purpose

We seek an experienced Product Management Consultant to lead and transform our data and analytics strategy initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data governance, AI technology, and business transformation, focusing on enabling insights and innovation through a unified data approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a scalable, high-quality data strategy that enhances business value.
  • Create a balanced approach to data governance that protects enterprise data while enabling insights and innovation.
  • Participate in unification of data systems and foster a data-driven culture.
  • Lead data strategy initiatives across stakeholders, align business needs, and promote responsible data governance.
  • Promote strong data governance frameworks and continuous improvement.
  • Support tech stack integration and data integration for future acquisitions.
  • Lead strategy development and change management for business transformation.
  • Develop data strategy for SaaS products and AI enhancements.
  • Manage product strategy, vision, and roadmaps aligned with enterprise architecture.
  • Conduct customer research and collaborate with stakeholders to develop product vision.

Pay grade 16, range $103,589.24 - $170,922.24. Actual compensation varies based on experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification, and peer comparisons.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in operational, project management, or consulting roles, preferably with healthcare clients and executive interaction.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of facilitating diverse meetings and preparing advisory communications.
  • Experience analyzing customer requirements and developing information systems solutions.
  • Proven ability in product management methodologies, data strategy, and business transformation.
  • Knowledge of change control, risk management, project planning, team management, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Ability to foster collaboration across teams and work effectively with business leaders and delivery teams.
  • Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Some knowledge of clinical systems and enterprise-wide applications.
Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Operate in a typical office environment, with frequent communication and manual dexterity for keyboard use.
  • Ability to concentrate, meet deadlines, manage multiple projects, and adapt to interruptions.
  • Travel as needed, including potential for frequent or occasional site visits.
