LANXESS is seeking an IT/OT Network Administrator to maintain PLC, DCS, and SIS OT control systems and related networks at the South Arkansas sites. You will implement process control OT networks per guidelines, install and manage firewalls, and coordinate with Corporate IT to ensure secure operations.

The role requires 3–5 years in IT/OT network admin, experience with virtual networks, LANs, and DCS environments, and knowledge of Windows Server and servers. A CS-related degree is preferred.

• Experience administering virtual networks, LANs, and DCS environments.
• Working knowledge of servers, network switches, firewalls, and Microsoft operating systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, critical-thinking, and continuous-improvement skills.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in CS or related field preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain PLC, DCS, and SIS OT control systems and OT networks across LANXESS South Arkansas sites.
• Implement and maintain process control OT networks per LANXESS PCT OT guidelines.
• Install, configure, and manage firewalls to support secure process control operations.
• Maintain connectivity to central servers supporting OSI PI, APC, and other required apps.
• Design, install, and repair network infrastructure including cabling, telemetry, switches, routers, and microwave links.
• Install OS updates, security patches, and deployments across PCS computers, servers, switches, firewalls, and VMs.
• Manage site IT infrastructure including CCURE, video surveillance (ExactVision/Unify), UPS.
• Coordinate with Corporate IT, desktop support, servers/storage, and conference room teams.
• Serve as the primary site contact for IT contractors and onsite support.

Job Highlights

• Responsible for the maintenance, programming, and administration of all PLC, DCS, and SIS control systems and associated Operational Technology (OT) networks across LANXESS South Arkansas sites.
• Implement and maintain process control OT networks in accordance with LANXESS PCT OT guidelines established by CC-PCT.
• Install, configure, and manage firewalls, including developing rules to support secure process control operations.
• Maintain connectivity to central servers supporting OSI PI, Advanced Process Control (APC), and other required applications.
• Design, install, and repair network infrastructure, including copper and fiber-optic cabling, telemetry, switches, routers, and point-to-point microwave systems.
• Install and manage operating system updates, security patches, and software deployments across process control computers, servers, switches, firewalls, and virtual environments.
• Manage site IT infrastructure, including telephone systems, access control (CCURE), video surveillance (ExactVision and Unify), and supporting equipment such as uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).
• Coordinate with Corporate IT, desktop support, servers and storage, production services, and conference room support teams.
• Serve as the primary site contact for IT contractors and coordinate onsite technical support.

Experience / Skills

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in IT/OT network administration, process control systems, or a related technical field.
• Experience administering virtual networks, local area networks (LANs), and DCS environments.
• Working knowledge of servers, network switches, firewalls, and Microsoft operating systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, critical-thinking, and continuous-improvement skills.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
