Job summary

Genentech in South San Francisco seeks a Control Systems and Infrastructure Support Lead (ITOT Mgmt.) to guide a team of site systems engineers, maintain the Site Control Systems roadmap, and oversee 24/7 manufacturing computer systems in a GMP environment.

You will collaborate with IT and OT partners, drive reliability and lifecycle management, validate control systems, and participate in OT cybersecurity initiatives while supporting site operations and capital planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in engineering, CS, IT or related field.
• 10+ years in systems engineering for control systems in regulated environments preferred.
• 24x7 support and on-call willingness required.
• Experience with control system hardware and software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for site systems engineers and system owners.
• Maintain Control Systems strategy and Site Digital roadmap with partners and vendors.
• Oversee 24/7 support for GMP/ non-GMP manufacturing computer systems.
• Guide upgrades, cybersecurity initiatives, and validation across the control system lifecycle.
• Collaborate with IT and OT teams to align architectures with business needs.
