Job summary

The Sanneh Foundation in Saint Paul, MN seeks an Information Technology & Operations Systems VISTA to strengthen internal IT processes and data security. You will help improve access to program files and staff knowledge through standardized tools and better workflows.

You’ll audit Drive files, implement a unified structure, set access controls, and train staff on new processes and AI tool use. This nine-month assignment includes AmeriCorps benefits and a bi-weekly pay rate.

Qualifications

• Understand TSF programs and IT systems used by staff and volunteers.
• Assess gaps in technology tools and capacity of staff.
• Meet with site supervisors to discuss capacity gaps and develop solutions.
• Identify and participate in professional development related to AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Audit and restructure The Sanneh Foundation’s Google Drive storage for organization, security, and data governance.
• Propose a unified directory architecture with standard folder hierarchies and naming conventions.
• Establish access control and data security policies with role-based permissions.
• Migrate active documents into the new Google Drive structure and document procedures.
• Develop user manuals or tutorials and train staff on the new system.
• Train TSF staff and VISTAs on a decision-tree rubric for file sorting and archiving.
