Job summary

VAI Resort is seeking a Director of IT Operations to lead the technology operations and infrastructure powering its entertainment destination and related venues. You will guide secure, reliable, and scalable IT services across resort, park, retail, and corporate operations.

The role demands strategic and hands-on leadership, building a resilient tech ecosystem, managing high-availability infrastructure, and aligning technology with guest and team member experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; IT leadership experience preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive IT experience leading enterprise operations.
• Experience in hospitality/entertainment 24/7 environments preferred.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise networking, cloud infra, and high availability.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT Operations across infrastructure, networks, cloud, and data centers.
• Oversee security, reliability, resilience, scalability and high availability of enterprise systems.
• Build and mentor a high-performing IT Operations team.
• Partner with Cybersecurity to ensure risk mitigation and governance.
• Manage budgets, vendor partnerships, and technology lifecycle planning.
